Summary:To provide a paper loading device capable of conveying while holding a sheet with a proper force, and an image formation system.SOLUTION: A paper loading device 30 comprises a paper loading part 38 loaded with sheets S, a paper loading mechanism 37 which conveys the sheets S to the paper loading part 38 to load, and a contact surface 42a with which an end part of the sheet is brought into contact. The paper loading mechanism 37 includes a gripper member 61 for holding the sheets and a gripper movement mechanism 62. Further, the gripper member 61 holds the sheets with a first holding force from a holding position to a loading position, and holds the sheets with a second holding force when the end part of the sheet is brought into contact with the contact surface from the loading position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】用紙を適正な力で保持して搬送することができる用紙積載装置及び画像形成システムを提供する。【解決手段】用紙積載装置３０は、用紙Ｓが積載される用紙積載部３８と、用紙積載部３８に用紙Ｓを搬送し、積載させる用紙積載機構３７と、用紙の端部が当接する当接面４２ａと、を備えている。用紙積載機構３７は、用紙を保持するグリッパ部材６１と、グリッパ移動機構６２と、を有している。また、グリッパ部材６１は、保持位置から積載位置までは第１保持力で用紙を保持し、積載位置から用紙の端部を当接面に当接させる際は第２保持力で用紙を保持する。【選択図】図３
