To provide a capacitor outer case according to the present invention that enables a capacitor assembly having high mechanical strength and excellent vibration resistance to be obtained and enables visual inspection of the capacitor assembly, printing on the surface of the capacitor assembly and the like to be easily performed.SOLUTION: A bottomed cylindrical capacitor outer case 1 for housing an aluminum electrolytic capacitor element comprises a cylindrical body portion 10 provided with an opening on one side and a bottom portion 20 coupled to the cylindrical body portion 10 on the other side of the cylindrical body portion 10, and an outer peripheral wall 12 of the cylindrical body portion 10 is substantially smooth, and at least three ridges 30 extending from the bottom portion 20 to the opening 11 side are provided in the inner peripheral wall 13 of the cylindrical body portion 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明のコンデンサ用外装ケースを用いることにより、機械的強度が高く耐振性に優れたコンデンサ組立体を得ることができ、且つ、コンデンサ組立体の外観検査、コンデンサ組立体の表面への印刷等を容易に行うことができるコンデンサ用外装ケースを提供する。【解決手段】アルミ電解コンデンサ素子を収容するための有底円筒状のコンデンサ用外装ケース１であって、一方の側に開口部が設けられた筒状胴部１０と、筒状胴部１０の他方の側において筒状胴部１０に連成された底部２０と、を備え、筒状胴部１０の外周壁１２は実質的に平滑であり、筒状胴部１０の内周壁１３において、底部２０から開口部１１の側に伸びる凸条部３０が少なくとも３箇所設けられている。【選択図】図１
