Summary:To provide a carryout method of a nuclear fuel material in a nuclear power plant which can carry out a melted nuclear fuel material in a shorter time.SOLUTION: A shied cutting device 123 having a rotating body 124 in which a plurality of cutters 125 for cutting a nuclear fuel material are arranged at a front face, a propulsion part having a plurality of propulsion jacks 127 for progressing the rotating body 124, and a first transfer passage for transferring the nuclear fuel material which is formed and cut in the propulsion part is arranged in an upper part of an RPV 2. The nuclear fuel material existing in a reactor core 4 in the RPV 2 is cut by using the plurality of cutters 125 arranged at the front face of the rotating body 124 while rotating the rotating body 124 by descending the shield cutting device 123 into the RPV 2. The nuclear fuel material is cut in an axial direction of the RPV 2 by progressing the rotating body 124 by driving the propulsion jacks 127 while rotating the rotating body 124. The cut nuclear fuel material is transferred through a first transfer passage 128 and a second transfer passage 139 which is connected to the first transfer passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 58 【課題】溶融した核燃料物質をさらに短時間に搬出できる原子力プラントにおける核燃料物質の搬出方法を提供する。【解決手段】核燃料物質を切削する複数のカッター125が前面に設けられた回転体124、回転体124を前進させる複数の推進ジャッキ127を有する推進部、及び推進部内に形成された切削された核燃料物質を移送する第1移送通路を有するシールド切削装置123が、RPV2上方に配置される。シールド切削装置123をRPV2内まで下降させ、回転体124を回転させながら回転体124の前面に設けられた複数のカッター125により、RPV2内の炉心4に存在する核燃料物質を切削する。回転体124を回転させながら推進ジャッキ127を駆動させて回転体124を前進させ、RPV2の軸方向においてその核燃料物質を切削する。切削された核燃料物質は、その第1移送通路128及びこれに接続された第2移送通路139を通って移送される。【選択図】図58
