To predict traversing possibility of an object which an on-vehicle camera cannot detect.SOLUTION: The drive support device includes: an image analysis section 11 which analyzes an image picked up by an on-vehicle camera for forward shooting and upon recognition of a person moving toward an obstacle existing, facing a track ahead of a vehicle and an object moving from the rear side of an obstacle toward a track ahead of the vehicle, identifies a combination of an action of the recognized person and the object as a pattern of a dangerous scene; storage sections 12, 24 for storing dangerous scene pattern information concerning the pattern of the identified dangerous scene; a determination section 21 for determining whether or not the action of the person included in the picked-up image of the camera is similar to the action of the person included in the stored dangerous scene pattern information; and a drive support section 22 for alerting a driver that the obstacle included in the dangerous scene pattern information determined to be similar may appear on a track ahead of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】車載カメラにより検知することができない物体の横断可能性を予測する。【解決手段】前方撮影用の車載カメラで撮影された画像を解析し、車両前方の走行路に面して存在する障害物の方向に動作を行っている人物、及び障害物の裏側から車両前方の走行路に向かって移動する物体を認識した場合に、その認識した人物の動作及び物体の組み合わせを危険シーンのパターンとして特定する画像解析部１１と、特定した危険シーンのパターンに関する危険シーン・パターン情報を記憶する記憶部１２、２４と、カメラの撮影画像に含まれる人物の動作が、記憶した危険シーン・パターン情報に含まれる人物の動作と類似するか否かを判定する判定部２１と、類似すると判定された危険シーン・パターン情報に含まれる物体が、車両前方の走行路に出現する可能性があることを、運転者に注意喚起する運転支援部２２と、を備える。【選択図】図１
