To provide a ligneous fireproof member enabling easy formation with texture of wood in the outer cover and excellent fireproof performance.SOLUTION: A ligneous fireproof member 1 comprises a ligneous load support portion 2 having a rectangular or circular cross-sectional shape, a moisture blocking layer 3 provided on the outer side surface of the wood load support portion 2, a fireproof covering layer 4 covering the water blocking layer 3, and a finishing wooden layer 5 provided on the fireproof covering layer 4.
