Summary:To provide a method for making a hydrophilia polymer hardly fall from a base material sheet and for manufacturing a thin and flexible absorber for a hydrophilia article.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for an absorber 1 includes: a cutting step of cutting a belt-like base material sheet 2 being transported along a transportation direction X to form a plurality of long base parts 1a on the base material sheet 2; a coating step of performing transportation while heating one face of the base material sheet 2 in a state in which the one face of the base material sheet is in contact with a transportation unit 30 for transporting the base material sheet 2 and, in the state, coating the other face of the base material sheet 2 with adhesive material 4; and a polymer spraying step of spraying particles of a hydrophilia polymer 5 onto the face coated with the adhesive material 4 while keeping a state in which the base material sheet 2 coated with the adhesive material 4 in the coating step is in contact with the transportation unit 30 and heated, to fix the particles of the hydrophilia polymer 5 on the other face of the base material sheet 2 via the adhesive material 4. In the manufacturing method, the cutting step is performed prior to the coating step or posterior to the polymer spraying step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】基材シートからの吸水性ポリマーの脱落をより少なくし、且つ薄くて柔軟な吸収性物品用の吸収体の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の吸収体1の製造方法は、搬送される帯状の基材シート2を、搬送方向Xに沿って切断することで、該基材シート2に複数条の長尺状基体部1aを形成する切断工程と、基材シート2の一方の面を、基材シート2を搬送する搬送部30に接した状態で加熱しつつ搬送し、その状態下で、該基材シート2の他方の面に接着剤4を塗工する塗工工程と、塗工工程で接着剤4が塗工された基材シート2が搬送部30に接して加熱された状態を維持しつつ、接着剤4が塗工された面上に吸水性ポリマー5の粒子を散布して、接着剤4を介して吸水性ポリマー5の粒子を基材シート2の他方の面に固定するポリマー散布工程とを備える。本製造方法は、切断工程を塗工工程に先立ち行うか、又は切断工程をポリマー散布工程の後に行う。【選択図】図1
