Abstract | To provide a display device enabling a driver to recognize a state of an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A motor meter 10 as a display device used for an electric vehicle having a motor as a drive source includes: a first zone 11 for indicating torque of the motor; and a second zone 12 for indicating a temperature of a coil of the motor. The electric vehicle performs processing for suppressing the torque when a coil temperature is high because the coil in the motor is heated, causing the coil temperature to rise, as the vehicle is operated with high torque. This allows a driver to visually recognize the motor torque and the coil temperature at the same time via the motor meter 10, enabling the driver to predict torque suppression while recognizing the coil temperature, so that the driver can avoid a feeling of discomfort even if a feeling of acceleration is suppressed as a result of the torque suppressing being applied to the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
