Summary:To provide a display device enabling a driver to recognize a state of an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A motor meter 10 as a display device used for an electric vehicle having a motor as a drive source includes: a first zone 11 for indicating torque of the motor; and a second zone 12 for indicating a temperature of a coil of the motor. The electric vehicle performs processing for suppressing the torque when a coil temperature is high because the coil in the motor is heated, causing the coil temperature to rise, as the vehicle is operated with high torque. This allows a driver to visually recognize the motor torque and the coil temperature at the same time via the motor meter 10, enabling the driver to predict torque suppression while recognizing the coil temperature, so that the driver can avoid a feeling of discomfort even if a feeling of acceleration is suppressed as a result of the torque suppressing being applied to the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ドライバに電動車両の状態を認識させることができる表示装置を提供する。【解決手段】モータを駆動源とする電動車両に用いられる表示装置としてのモータメータ10は、モータのトルクを示す第1領域11と、モータのコイルの温度を示す第2領域12を備える。電動車両は、高トルクで運転するほどモータ内のコイルが発熱しコイル温度が上昇するため、コイル温度が高い時はトルクを抑制する処理を行う。ドライバは、モータメータ10により、モータトルクとコイル温度を同時に視認でき、コイル温度を認識しつつトルク抑制を予め予測することで、電動車両にトルク抑制がかかり加速感が悪くなっても違和感を生じずに済む。【選択図】図1
