Summary:To provide a method for manufacturing a porous body which suppresses an image flow and can be used for an inkjet recording device including a liquid absorption member having a high transportation strength.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a porous body in an inkjet recording device including: an image formation unit which forms a first image including a first liquid and a color material on a recorded body; and a liquid absorption member having a porous body which comes in contact with the first image and absorbs at least a part of the first liquid from the first image.
