Summary:To provide an electric actuator of which the outer shape in an axial direction can be reduced.SOLUTION: An electric actuator comprises: a rotor 22 including a motor shaft 21 extending along a central axis; a stator which faces the rotor while interposing a clearance gap in a radial direction therebetween; a speed reduction mechanism which is coupled to a portion of the motor shaft at one side in an axial direction; a rotation detection part 75 which detects rotation of the rotor; a case in which the rotor, the stator and the rotation detection part are accommodated; and a bearing 51 which is provided in the case and supports a portion of the motor shaft at the other side in the axial direction in a rotatable manner. The case includes a bearing holding part 12e which holds the bearing. The rotation detection part includes: a mounting member 73 which is fixed to the motor shaft; a magnet 74 which is fitted to the mounting member; and a rotation sensor 71 which faces the magnet while interposing a clearance gap therebetween.
