Summary:To provide a plastic pellet diffusion device and a diffusion method possible to be used to diffuse plastic pellets evenly in a lateral direction.SOLUTION: There is provided a plastic pellet diffusion device 10, including: a pipe 1 for draining plastic pellets downward; an inclined plate 3 having a pair of plates 2 having a top side 3t disposed below the pipe and extending downward from the top side 3t to both ends; and a diffusion bar 4 disposed on an extension of each plate 2 in an inclination direction and extending in a direction parallel to the top side 3t. A cross-sectional area A of the pipe 1 is 20 to 300 cm.
