To provide a chair capable of preventing the finger from approaching into an oscillation mechanism part when supporting the back on a back support part via the oscillation mechanism part.SOLUTION: A chair including a back 6 constituting a seating face is configured such that: the back 6 is oscillatable in a plurality of different directions to a back support part 7 for supporting the back; there is provided a back oscillation mechanism part 8M between at least the back 6 and the back support part 7; and due to that a cloth 63 as a flexible material is arranged in a position of concealing the back oscillation mechanism part 8M, at least the cloth 63 can prevent the finger from approaching into the back oscillation mechanism part 8M while being appropriately deformed and covering the back oscillation mechanism part 8M.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 【課題】背を揺動機構部を介して背支持部に支持させるにあたり、かかる揺動機構部への手指等の進入を防止することができる椅子を提供する。【解決手段】着座面を構成する背６を有し、背６がそれを支持する背支持部７に対して異なる複数の方向に揺動可能なものであって、少なくとも背６と背支持部７の間に背揺動機構部８Ｍを有し、背揺動機構部８Ｍを隠蔽する位置に可撓性材料として張り地６３を配置したので、少なくとも張り地６３が適宜に変形しながら背揺動機構部８Ｍをカバーしつつ、手指等が背揺動機構部８Ｍに進入することを防止することができる。【選択図】図１２
