To provide a coin recognition device and a cash processor with improved identification accuracy of coins.SOLUTION: A cash register change system includes: a coin deposit port into which a coin CN is inserted from the outside; a frame 40 which forms a coin transport path TP2 where the coin CN is transported along the transport direction; a transport belt 50 which faces a transport surface 40dS of the coin CN in the coin transport path TP2 and is disposed in the vicinity of an end in the right direction which is one direction in the transport path width direction in the coin transport path TP2; a transport pin 52 which is provided on the transport belt 50 and protrudes from the transport belt 50 toward the left which is the other direction in the transport path width direction and transports the coin CN while in contact with the coin CN; and a sensor 48 (48A, 48B, 48C) which is disposed at the center of the coin transport path width direction in the coin transport path TP2 in the frame 40 and detects the coin CN.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】硬貨の識別精度を向上させた硬貨認識装置及び現金処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】レジ釣銭システムは、外部から硬貨ＣＮを投入される硬貨入金口と、硬貨ＣＮが搬送方向に沿って搬送される硬貨搬送路ＴＰ２を形成するフレーム４０と、硬貨搬送路ＴＰ２における硬貨ＣＮの搬送面４０ｄＳに対向すると共に、硬貨搬送路ＴＰ２における搬送路幅方向の一方向である右方向の端部近傍に配置される搬送ベルト５０と、搬送ベルト５０に設けられ、該搬送ベルト５０から搬送路幅方向の他方向である左方に向かって突出し硬貨ＣＮと当接しながら該硬貨ＣＮを搬送する搬送ピン５２と、フレーム４０における硬貨搬送路ＴＰ２の搬送路幅方向の中央部に配置され、硬貨ＣＮを検出するセンサ４８（４８Ａ、４８Ｂ、４８Ｃ）とを設ける。【選択図】図４
