Summary:To provide a manufacturing method of a foamable styrene resin particle capable of reducing content of volatile organic components (styrene and ethylbenzene) manufacturing a foaming molded body having good appearance.SOLUTION: A foamable styrene resin particle is manufactured by dispersing a styrene resin particle, which is manufactured by melting and mixing water of 0.01 to 5 pts.wt., and a heat stabilizer of 0.05 to 0.6 pts.wt. by an extruder based on a styrene resin of 100 pts.wt., then conducting an aspiration treatment on volatile organic components from the extruder under a condition of vacuum degree of 0.08 MPaG or less, and cylinder temperature of a molten part of 200°C to 250°C, extruding the same through a die with a small pore and cutting the same by a cutter, into water, and impregnating a foaming agent into the styrene resin particle at a temperature of 100°C to 120°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】揮発性有機成分(スチレンとエチルベンゼン)の含有量を低減し、かつ良好な外観を有する発泡成形体を製造することのできる発泡性スチレン系樹脂粒子の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】スチレン系樹脂100重量部に対して、水0.01〜5重量部、熱安定剤0.05〜0.6重量部を押出機で溶融混練した後、揮発性有機成分を押出機内から真空度0.08MPaG以下、溶融部のシリンダ温度200℃〜250℃の条件で吸引処理し、小孔を有するダイスを通じて押出した後カッターで切断して製造したスチレン系樹脂粒子を、水中に懸濁させ、温度100℃〜120℃で、発泡剤を、該スチレン系樹脂粒子に含浸させて発泡性スチレン系樹脂粒子を製造する。【選択図】なし
