Summary:To provide a method for producing an isocyanurate capable of suppressing the generation of a gel and producing an isocyanurate having excellent storage stability.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing an isocyanurate which comprises: subjecting a raw material component containing xylylene diisocyanate to an isocyanuration reaction in the presence of an isocyanuration catalyst to obtain an isocyanurate reaction solution containing an isocyanurate of xylylene diisocyanate (a reaction step); and separating a product component containing an isocyanurate of xylylene diisocyanate from the isocyanurate reaction solution (a separation step), wherein a catalyst-deactivating agent is added to the raw material component so that the ratio of the catalyst-deactivating agent is 50 to 100 ppm based on the raw material component before the reaction step (an addition step before reaction).SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】ゲルの発生を抑制できるとともに、貯蔵安定性に優れるイソシアヌレートを製造できるイソシアヌレートの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】キシリレンジイソシアネートを含む原料成分を、イソシアヌレート化触媒の存在下においてイソシアヌレート化反応させることにより、キシリレンジイソシアネートのイソシアヌレートを含むイソシアヌレート反応液を得て(反応工程)、イソシアヌレート反応液から、キシリレンジイソシアネートのイソシアヌレートを含有する製品成分を分離する(分離工程)、イソシアヌレートの製造方法において、上記の反応工程の前に、原料成分に対して50〜100ppmの割合になるように、原料成分に触媒失活剤を添加する(反応前添加工程)。【選択図】なし
