Summary:To provide a system to notify a congestion state in a vehicle compartment, while constructing the system needs reduced vehicle modification work.SOLUTION: A congestion state notification system comprises a sensor arranged in a vehicle to detect a prescribed event which changes correspondingly to the degree of congestion caused by passengers in the vehicle, solar cells arranged in the vehicle to supply electric power to the sensor, a congestion state decision part to decide the congestion state in the vehicle on the basis of the output of the sensor and a notification control part to enable a display device to display the congestion state decided by the congestion state decision part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】車両の混雑状況を報知するシステムの構築にあたり、車両に対する施工の手間が軽減されるようにする。【解決手段】車両に設けられ、車両における乗客の混雑の度合いに応じて変化する所定の事象を検出するセンサと、センサに電力を供給するように車両に設けられる太陽電池と、センサの出力に基づいて、車両の混雑状況を判定する混雑状況判定部と、混雑状況判定部により判定された混雑状況を表示装置にて表示させる報知制御部とを備えて混雑状況報知システムを構成する。【選択図】図２
