To provide a display member and a clock having the display member, which are capable of improving the brightness and emitting a light with a high decorative property.SOLUTION: A clock includes a dial 6 made of a plate material having light transmittivity, a first to a third display accommodating members 15 to 17 provided on the dial 6 such that the surface thereof is convex and the rear surface thereof corresponding to the convex part is formed concavely, a first to a third storage members 18a to 18c embedded in the first to the third display members 15 to 17 each emitting light in response to the light. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve a high brightness of first to third light-accumulating materials 18a to 18c embedded in the first to the third display members 15 to 17, and the light-accumulating materials 18a to 18c each embedded in the first to the third display accommodating materials 15a to 17c can be three-dimensionally emitted on the dial plate 6, thereby making it possible to improve the decorative property.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】 高輝度化を図り、かつ立体的に発光させて装飾性を高めることができる表示部材およびそれを備えた時計を提供する。【解決手段】 光透過性を有する板状素材である文字板６と、この文字板６にその表面が凸となりこの凸に対応する裏面が凹となるように設けられた第１〜第３表示収容部１５〜１７と、これら第１〜第３表示収容部１５〜１７内にそれぞれ埋め込まれ、光に反応して発光する第１〜第３蓄光材１８ａ〜１８ｃと、を備えている。従って、第１〜第３表示収容部１５〜１７内にそれぞれ埋め込まれた第１〜第３蓄光材１８ａ〜１８ｃの高輝度化を図ることができると共に、第１〜第３表示収容部１５〜１７内にそれぞれ埋め込まれた第１〜第３蓄光材１８ａ〜１８ｃを文字板６上で立体的に発光させることができ、これにより装飾性を高めることができる。【選択図】 図５
