To provide a ball valve that can stabilize operation torque of a valve element at desired torque, and can reliably prevent inner fluid from leaking.SOLUTION: A ball valve 1 comprises: a valve element 2 of which an outer surface is a spherical surface, and comprising a through hole; a thermoplastic resin-made valve casing 3 comprising a drum part 31 comprising a valve element housing part in which the valve element is housed, and a side part 32 integrated with the drum part 31; and a seat ring 4 fitted between the outer surface of the valve element 2 and an inner surface of the valve casing 3. The drum part 31 comprises an outer cylinder part 312. The side part 32 comprises an inner cylinder part 321 inserted into the outer cylinder part 312. In the drum part and the side part, an inner surface of the outer cylinder part 312 and an outer surface of the inner cylinder part 321 are melted and integrated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】弁体の操作トルクを所望のトルクで安定させることが可能で、かつ、内部の流体が漏れ出すことを確実に防止することができるボールバルブを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】ボールバルブ１は、外面が球面で貫通する孔を有する弁体２と、弁体が収容される弁体収容部を有する胴部３１と、胴部３１に一体化される側部３２とを有する熱可塑性樹脂製の弁箱３と、弁体２の外面と弁箱３の内面との間に装着されるシートリング４と、を備えている。胴部３１は外筒部３１２を有し、側部３２は外筒部３１２に挿入される内筒部３２１を有し、胴部と側部とは、外筒部３１２の内面と内筒部３２１の外面とが溶融されて一体化されている。【選択図】図１
