To provide a console box which enables a unit to be securely attached to a cover and also enables easy attachment or detachment of the unit.SOLUTION: A console box includes: a unit formed by a housing pocket having a rectangular box shape or an operation panel having a rectangular plate shape; an exterior cover having an opening in which the unit fits and enclosing the unit; and a fixing mechanism which fixes the unit to the exterior cover. The unit has an engagement piece at one end side in a longitudinal direction and has a first through hole at the other end side. The exterior cover has: a hole part which is located at one end side of the opening and into which the engagement piece is inserted; and a second through hole which is provided at a position of the first through hole at the other end side of the opening in a state where the unit is fitted in the opening and the engagement piece is inserted into the hole part. The opening inclines so that the one end side becomes lower than the other end side. The fixing mechanism has a mechanism which penetrates through the first through hole and the second through hole to fix the unit to the exterior cover and has an operation portion exposed to the outside and operated when the unit is attached to or detached from the exterior cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】ユニットを強固にカバーに取り付け、容易に着脱可能なコンソールボックスを提供する。【解決手段】コンソールボックスは、矩形箱状の収納ポケットまたは矩形板状の操作パネルから成るユニットと、ユニットが嵌めこまれる開口部を有し、ユニットを囲う外装カバーと、ユニットを外装カバーに固定する固定機構とを備え、ユニットは、長手方向の一端側に係合片と他端側に第１の貫通孔とを有し、外装カバーは、開口部の一端側に位置し係合片が差し込まれる穴部と、開口部の他端側で、ユニットが開口部に嵌め込まれ、係合片が穴部に差し込まれた状態で第１の貫通孔の位置に設けられる第２の貫通孔とを有し、開口部は一端側が他端側より低くなるように傾斜しており、固定機構は第１の貫通孔と第２の貫通孔とを貫通してユニットを外装カバーに固定する機構を有し、外部に露出しユニットを外装カバーに着脱する際の操作部位を有する。【選択図】図６
