Summary:To provide a hybrid vehicle which suppresses deterioration of a power storage device during high altitude travel.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle comprises: an engine which is capable of outputting travel power; a motor which is capable of outputting travel power; a power storage device which exchanges electric power with the motor; and a control device for controlling the engine and the motor so that the vehicle travels by power required for traveling. It estimates a damage amount of the power storage device on the basis of an atmospheric pressure and a temperature of the power storage device, and performs control in such a manner that a motor assist amount is made smaller when the damage amount is large as opposed to when it is small. Thus, it can suppress acceleration of damage (deterioration) of the power storage device. While atmospheric pressure gets smaller as altitude gets higher, deterioration of the power storage device during high altitude can be suppressed by this configuration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】高地走行時における蓄電装置の劣化を抑制する。【解決手段】ハイブリッド自動車は、走行用の動力を出力可能なエンジンと、走行用の動力を出力可能なモータと、モータと電力のやりとりを行なう蓄電装置と、走行に要求される動力により走行するようにエンジンとモータとを制御する制御装置と、を備える。そして、大気圧と蓄電装置の温度とに基づいて蓄電装置のダメージ量を推定し、ダメージ量が大きいときには小さいときに比してモータアシスト量が小さくなるように制御する。これにより、蓄電装置のダメージ(劣化)が促進されるのを抑制することができる。大気圧は標高が高いほど低くなるから、高地走行時における蓄電装置の劣化を抑制することができるものとなる。【選択図】図2
