Summary:To provide a technique for removing a harmful ash component accumulated on a DPF(diesel particulate filter) at a high removal ratio which cannot be achieved in conventional cleaning.SOLUTION: A method for cleaning a diesel particulate filter on which an ash component, which is a compound of at least one element selected from P, S, Ca and Zn contained in an exhaust gas, is accumulated, comprises immersing the diesel particulate filter, on which the ash component is accumulated, in a cleaning fluid containing a cleaning component which enables solubilization of the ash component in water, thereby dissolving the ash component in water and removing the same. Specifically, the afore-said cleaning component may comprise citric acid, sodium citrate, ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA), tartaric acid and so on.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】DPF(ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ)に堆積した、排気ガス中の有害なアッシュ成分を、従来の水洗浄では成し遂げられなかった高い除去率で除去する技術に関する。【解決手段】排気ガス中に含まれる、P、S、Ca、およびZnから選択される少なくとも一つの元素の化合物であるアッシュ成分が堆積したディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタの洗浄方法であって、前記アッシュ成分が堆積したディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタを、当該アッシュ成分を水に可溶化させることができる洗浄成分を含有する洗浄液に浸漬することにより、前記アッシュ成分を水に溶解させて除去することを特徴とする、ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタの洗浄方法。前記洗浄成分は、具体的には、クエン酸、クエン酸ナトリウム、エチレンジアミン四酢酸(EDTA)、および酒石酸などが挙げられる。【選択図】図3
