Summary:To prevent quality of radio communication from continuing reduction caused by a change of a radio wave situation.SOLUTION: A radio communication device 1 for performing radio communication using a point-to-point radio communication system adopting an FDD system comprises an investigation unit 2, an information acquisition unit 3, a determination unit 4, and a synchronization unit 5. The investigation unit 2 investigates noise levels of a reception signal over the whole area of a reception frequency band. The information acquisition unit 3 transmits noise level investigation information on the reception frequency band based on an investigation result of the investigation unit 2 to a communication partner 7. The information acquisition unit 3 acquires noise level investigation information that is transmitted from the communication partner 7 and is based on an investigation result of the investigation unit 2 of the communication partner 7, as noise level investigation information in a transmission frequency band. The determination unit 4, when quality of the reception signal has become worse than that in a change determination state, determines a change candidate for communication setting including a modulation system to improve signal quality. The synchronization unit 5 performs synchronization with the communication partner 7 about changing the communication setting by transmitting the change candidate for the communication setting to the communication partner 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 電波状況の変化に起因して無線通信の品質が低下し続けることを防止する。【解決手段】 FDD方式を採用したポイントツーポイントの無線通信方式でもって無線通信する無線通信装置1は、調査部2と情報取得部3と判断部4と同期部5とを備える。調査部2は、受信周波数帯の全域に亘り受信信号のノイズレベルを調査する。情報取得部3は、通信相手7に向けて、調査部2の調査結果に基づいた受信周波数帯のノイズレベル調査情報を送信する。情報取得部3は、通信相手7から送信されてくる当該通信相手7の調査部2の調査結果によるノイズレベル調査情報を送信周波数帯のノイズレベル調査情報として取得する。判断部4は、受信信号の品質が変更判定状態よりも悪化した場合に、信号品質を改善すべく、変調方式を含む通信設定の変更候補を決定する。同期部5は、通信設定の変更候補を通信相手7に送信することにより、通信設定の変更に関し通信相手7との同期を取る。【選択図】 図1
