In the fluoride phosphor, a ratio (A1/A2) between an area (A1) of a spectrum in a range from 645 eV inclusive to 651 eV exclusive in XPS measurement and an area (A2) of a spectrum in a range from 682.8 eV inclusive to 690 eV exclusive in XPS measurement is from 0.0005 to 0.0010 inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】耐久性だけでなく発光特性にも優れるフッ化物蛍光体を提供する。【解決手段】下記一般式（１）：Ａ2ＳｉＦ6：Ｍｎ4+・・・ （１）で表される組成を有するフッ化物蛍光体である。式中、Ａは少なくともＫを含有する１種以上のアルカリ金属である。このフッ化物蛍光体は、ＸＰＳ測定における６４５ｅＶ以上６５１ｅＶ未満の範囲のスペクトルの面積（Ａ１）と、ＸＰＳ測定における６８２．８ｅＶ以上６９０ｅＶ未満の範囲のスペクトルの面積（Ａ２）との比（Ａ１／Ａ２）が０．０００５以上０．００１０以下である。【選択図】なし
