Summary:To provide a plant production method capable of controlling a weight of plants to be harvested to a desired range (in specification) even when there is variation of growth (growth speed) of plants in a plant factory or the like.SOLUTION: The plant production method comprises at least: a greening step for disseminating seeds of a plant group formed of at least one plant, causing to sprout and grow for acquiring young seedlings; a seedling raising step for transplanting the young seedlings to a seedling raising chamber for causing the young seedlings to grow, for acquiring fix planted seedlings; and a main cultivation step for transplanting the fix planted seedlings and causing to grow, then harvesting the fix planted seedlings. For each plant forming the plant group, pieces of data of a weight at plural time points in the seedling raising step are collected, and based on the collected weight data, a relational expression between a total cultivation period which is a total period of the greening period, the seedling raising period and main cultivation period, and the weight of the plant group, is generated, then, based on the relational expression, for the plant group, the total cultivation period is adjusted so that, a ratio of the plants having a weight in a prescribed range out of the harvested plants, is optimized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】植物工場などにおいて植物の生育(成長速度)にバラツキがある場合でも、収穫される植物の重量を所望の範囲内(規格内)に制御することのできる植物の生産方法を提供すること。【解決手段】少なくとも1つの植物からなる植物群の種子を播種し、発芽させて成長させることにより稚苗を得る、緑化工程と、稚苗を育苗室に移植して成育させることにより、定植苗を得る、育苗工程と、定植苗を栽培室に移植して成育させた後に収穫する本栽培工程と、を含む、植物の生産方法。植物群を構成する個々の植物について、育苗工程の複数の時点における重量のデータを収集し、収取された重量のデータから、緑化期間、育苗期間および本栽培期間の合計期間である総栽培期間と、植物群の重量と、の関係式を作成し、関係式に基づいて、植物群について、収穫される植物のうち所定範囲内の重量を有する植物の比率が最適化されるように、総栽培期間が調整される。【選択図】図2
