Summary:To provide an electronic control device capable of preventing erroneous detection of a fan abnormality.SOLUTION: An electronic control device comprises: a circuit board mounted with a control circuit unit; a housing for housing the circuit board inside; a blower unit including a fan whose driving is controlled by the control circuit unit and for air-cooling the housing from the outside; a first temperature detection unit which detects a physical quantity correlating with a temperature of the circuit board; and a second temperature detection unit which detects a physical quantity correlating with a temperature outside the housing and arranged in a position far from the fan in the first temperature detection unit. The control circuit unit determines whether the fan is abnormal on the basis of the physical quantity detected by the first temperature detection unit, and also determines whether the fan abnormality is true or false by comparing the physical quantity detected by the first temperature detection unit with the physical quantity detected by the second temperature detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ファン異常の誤検出を防止できる電子制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】この電子制御装置は、制御回路部が実装された回路基板と、内部に前記回路基板が収容された筐体と、制御回路部により駆動を制御されるファンを有し筐体を外部から空冷する送風ユニットと、回路基板の温度に相関する物理量を検出する第1温度検出部と、筐体の外部の温度に相関する物理量を検出するものであり、第1温度検出部よりもファンから遠い箇所に配置された第2温度検出部と、を備える。制御回路部は、第1温度検出部の検出する物理量に基づいてファンの異常を判定するとともに、第1温度検出部が検出する物理量と、第2温度検出部が検出する物理量とを比較することにより、ファンの異常の真偽を判断する。【選択図】図2
