Summary:To provide a rotary electric machine with a fractional slot configuration capable of reducing noise and vibration caused by phase arrangement of stator windings.SOLUTION: In a stator winding 22, a plurality of basic coils 50 are mixed so that magnitudes of magnetomotive forces generated by the plurality of coil sides constituting a hybrid single-phase band 42 are equal at each pole of a plurality of mover magnetic poles 32. The stator winding 22 in which the plurality of basic coils 50 are mixed includes a plurality of phase coils 22c including at least one pole pair coil 60. Each pole pair coil 60 includes a plurality of unit coils 22d wound concentrically. In the plurality of unit coils 22d constituting each pole pair coil 60, a coil pitch between a pair of coil sides housed in a pair of slots is different, respectively.
