Summary:To provide an antiglare film which exhibits excellent display characteristics combining antiglare properties and prevention of white blurring and which can prevent occurrence of protrusions on a surface of an antiglare layer to enhance yield of products, the protrusions being causative of appearance defect.SOLUTION: An antiglare film has an antiglare layer on at least one surface of a light-transmitting substrate. The antiglare layer is formed using antiglare layer forming material which comprises resin, particles, and a thixotropic imparting agent. The antiglare layer has agglomerate portions which are formed by agglomeration of the particles and the thixotropic imparting agent and which form convex parts on the surface of the antiglare layer.
