Summary: | To provide a methacrylic resin composition which has heat resistance, has highly controlled birefringence, has high light transmittance in a long light path, and is excellent in color tone and transparency. A methacrylic resin composition contains a methacrylic resin including at least a structural unit derived from an N-substituted maleimide monomer in its main chain, has a melt viscosity on the conditions of a glass transition temperature of higher than 120°C and 160°C or lower, a resin temperature of 270°C and a shear rate of 1000 secof 250 pa seconds or less, and has an absolute value of a photoelastic coefficient of 1×10paor less, where in a solution in which the resin composition is dissolved in chloroform in 20 mass to volume percentage, light transmittance measured on the conditions of a light path length of 100 mm and a wavelength of 470 nm is 94% or more, and light transmittance measured on the condition of a wavelength of 700 nm is 96% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】耐熱性が高く、高度に複屈折が制御され、長光路での高い光線透過率を有し、色調及び透明性に優れたメタクリル系樹脂組成物の提供である。【解決課題】主鎖に少なくともN−置換マレイミド単量体由来の構造単位を含むメタクリル系樹脂を含み、ガラス転移温度が120℃超160℃以下、樹脂温度270℃でせん断速度1000sec-1の条件下の溶融粘度が250pa・秒以下、光弾性係数の絶対値が1×10-12pa-1以下であり、該樹脂組成物を20質量対容量百分率にてクロロホルムに溶解した溶液について、光路長100mm、波長470nmの条件下で測定した光線透過率が94%以上、且つ波長700nmの条件下で測定した光線透過率が96%以上であるメタクリル系樹脂組成物。【選択図】なし |
