Summary:To provide a sheet feeding apparatus and an image forming apparatus capable of easily replacing a rotating body.SOLUTION: One end 5a of a separation roller shaft 5 on which a separation roller 3 is rotatably and removably mounted, is locked by an U-shaped groove 10 with an upper part of a separation roller holder 6 opened, and a rotating shaft 11 provided at the other end of the separation roller shaft 5 is rotatably supported by a bearing portion 10a of the separation roller holder 6 so that the separation roller shaft 5 can be vertically rotatable. Then, when replacing the separation roller 3, the separation roller shaft 5 is rotated upward to open one end of the separation roller shaft 5 in a state where the support by the U-shaped groove 10 is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】簡単に回転体を交換することのできるシート給送装置及び画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】分離ローラ３が回転自在に、かつ抜き外し可能に取り付けられた分離ローラ軸５の一端５ａを分離ローラホルダ６の上方が開放されたＵ字溝１０により係止し、分離ローラ軸５が上下方向に回動可能となるよう分離ローラ軸５の他端に設けられた回動軸１１を分離ローラホルダ６の軸受部１０ａにより回動自在に支持する。そして、分離ローラ３の交換の際は、Ｕ字溝１０による支持を解除した状態で分離ローラ軸５を上方回動させて分離ローラ軸５の一端を開放する。【選択図】図３
