Summary:To provide an operation device capable of allowing a user to precisely detect a position on an operation device, by preventing reflection of light from an indoor luminaire or the like on the surface of a light emitting portion and mixture with light emitted from the light emitting portion.SOLUTION: As a method for reducing influences on the position detection accuracy on an operation device 301 due to light from indoor luminaire, an operation device 301 comprises: a pair of left and right held parts to be held by a user on which an operation member 322 is provided on the upper plane; a central part 321 positioned between the right and left held parts; and a light emitting surface 328c formed on the front surface of the central part for emitting light for an information processor to capture the light via a camera.
