【課題】 瞳分割された一対の焦点検出信号を用いて異なる複数方式の焦点検出を行うことが可能な焦点検出装置において、それぞれの焦点検出方式の特徴を生かして、高精度な焦点検出を行うこと。【解決手段】 複数のマイクロレンズそれぞれに対して複数の光電変換部を有する撮像素子から、一対の焦点検出信号を取得し、取得した一対の焦点検出信号を取得する画像を撮影した時の絞り値と、予め決められた閾値とを比較し、絞り値が閾値未満の場合に、一対の焦点検出信号を互いにシフトし、差分して得られた値に基づいて焦点検出処理を行い、絞り値が閾値以上の場合に、一対の焦点検出信号を互いにシフトし、加算して得られた値に基づいて焦点検出処理を行う。【選択図】 図7 |
