Summary:To provide a thermal transfer sheet wound body which has identification means for one end side and the other end side thereof, and to further provide a thermal transfer sheet wound body capable of performing an end detection of the thermal transfer sheet, and a thermal transfer sheet printing equipment with use of the thermal transfer sheet wound body.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet wound body 1 has a bobbin 2 and a thermal transfer sheet 3 wound on the bobbin 2, in which there are parts having different colors at one end and the other end of the thermal transfer sheet 3 wound on the bobbin 2. Color coding is performed by use of colors of a yellow layer, a magenta layer and a cyan layer of the thermal transfer sheet 3.
