Summary:To provide a mowing machine that can be sold at low cost, particularly is suitable for the mowing in a slope, and provide a method suitable for the mowing in the slope.SOLUTION: A non-riding type mowing machine includes a body part 1 and a power unit 2. The body part 1 includes a body base 3 and four wheels 4. The body base 3 is provided with a rotary blade 61 where a blade protrudes forward and rotates, and rotary blades 62, 63 protruding laterally and rotating, and is rotated by respective motors 71-73. The body base 3 and the power unit 2 are connected with the harness 8 being not less than 5 meters comprising a power supply cable 81. The power unit 2 is arranged on the top of a slope, and electric power is sent from the power unit 4 to the motors 71-73 through the power supply cable 81 while the body base 3 is moved downward by the gravity along the slope to rotate the rotary blades 61-63, and thereby the mowing is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 安価な価格で販売することができ、特に斜面における草刈りに適した草刈り機を提供し、斜面における草刈りに適した方法を提供する。【解決手段】 本体部1と電源ユニット2を備えた非乗車型の草刈り機において、本体部1は本体ベース3と四個の車輪4を備える。本体ベース3には、前方に刃が突出して回転する回転刃61と、側方に突出して回転する回転刃62,63が設けられ、各々モータ71〜73により回転する。本体ベース3と電源ユニット2とは、給電ケーブル81を含む5メートル以上のハーネス8で連結されている。電源ユニット2を斜面の頂部に配置し、本体ベース3を斜面に沿って重力により下方に移動させながら、給電ケーブル81を介して電源ユニット4からモータ71〜73に電力を送って回転刃61〜63を回転させることで草刈りを行う。【選択図】 図1
