To provide a video display system having excellent portability and handiness.SOLUTION: A video display system comprises a video image signal generation part, a projection type video image display device, an interactive screen device, a coordinate adjustment part and a video image change operation part. The interactive screen device is a portable type, and is arranged on a surface similar to a surface where the projection type video image display device is arranged. The interactive screen device comprises: a plurality of flat surface coordinate detection parts which can perform a handwriting input; a control part that connects to the plurality of flat surface coordinate detection parts, calculates a flat surface coordinate value, and converts a position of the handwriting input or an operation on a display surface into a position on a video image projected from the video image signal generation part; and a screen part that is overlapped and arranged to the flat surface coordinate detection part.
