Summary:To provide a superconduction wire that can achieve a high Q value even when used at a high frequency band.SOLUTION: A superconduction wire has a base material 11, a superconductor layer 13 formed on each of both faces of the base material 11, and a conductive protective layer 14 formed on the surface of each superconductor layer 13. Each conductive protective layer 14 has a thickness that is equal to or lower than 5% of a skin depth when a high-frequency current is flowed to the superconduction wire.
