Summary:To provide an ink set comprising an inkjet ink and a treatment liquid, the ink set capable of forming high image quality printed matter with excellent coat durability and drying properties without image defects such as color mixing or insufficient filling, regardless of printing conditions, such as printing speed and recording resolution, and recording media.SOLUTION: The ink set comprises an inkjet ink and a treatment liquid used together with the inkjet ink. The inkjet ink contains a pigment, a water-soluble organic solvent, a surfactant, and water. The water-soluble organic solvent contains a glycol ether-based organic solvent having a specific structure, and the processing liquid contains a flocculant. The flocculant contains 6.8-20.8 mass% of calcium nitrate relative to the total amount of the treatment liquid, and the amount of compounds contained in the treatment liquid that have three or more hydroxyl groups is less than or equal to 15 mass% relative to the total amount of the treatment liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本発明の目的は、記録媒体や、印刷速度・記録解像度などの印刷条件によらず、塗膜耐性や乾燥性に優れ、かつ、混色や埋まり不足といった画像欠陥のない高画質印刷物が作成できる、処理液とインクジェットインキとを含むインキセットを提供することにある。【解決手段】インクジェットインキと、前記インクジェットインキとともに用いられる処理液とを含むインキセットであって、前記インクジェットインキが、顔料、水溶性有機溶剤、界面活性剤、及び水を含み、前記水溶性有機溶剤が、特定の構造を有するグリコールエーテル系有機溶剤を含み、前記処理液が、凝集剤を含み、前記凝集剤が、硝酸カルシウムを、処理液全量に対し6.8〜20.8質量%含み、前記処理液中に含まれる、水酸基を3個以上有する化合物の量が、処理液全量に対し15質量%以下である、インキセットである。【選択図】なし
