Summary:To determine the time behavior of a cyclic motor process during use of an electrical hair removal device without using specific sensors; and determine more precisely the cutting activity of the hair removal device and/or the force applied onto the skin.SOLUTION: Parallel to measuring the motor current, the induced voltage of a motor 3 is measured and a timing property of the induced voltage is evaluated, where the duration of a time pattern in the induced voltage is analyzed as the timing property of the induced voltage, thereby determining the time behavior of a cyclic motor process during use of an electrical hair removal device 1 with a motor-driven hair cutting unit 2.
