To provide a cosmetic production method capable of surely and stably producing cosmetic even when a thin and light-weight container is used for suppressing cost.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing cosmetic by filling a cosmetic from a lower side of a container, to the dish-shaped vacuum molding container 1 having a recess space 10 for cosmetic storage, comprising: a step for, after setting teh container 1 at a prescribed position of a holder 2 for cosmetic filling, acting a negative pressure to the container 1 for sucking and fixing the container 1 to the holder 2 for cosmetic filling; and a cosmetic filling step for filling a slurry-state cosmetic CS into the recess space by using a filling nozzle 4 from a lower side of the bottom part of the container.
