Summary:To provide techniques for a switch structure in which an indenter inserted in an insertion hole of a body cover is held in a cantilevered state outside a body cover by an elastic holding piece, where the techniques are for reinforcing the body cover and inhibiting dust and the like from infiltrating into the body through the insertion hole.SOLUTION: A switch structure 10 comprises: an indenter 13 that is inserted in an insertion hole 2a formed in a body cover 2 and operates a switch element 11 in a body 1 through push-in displacement toward the body 1; and an elastic holding piece 14 to hold the indenter 13 in a cantilevered state outside the body cover 2.
