Summary:To provide a flow sensor capable of improving sensitivity while preventing degradation of detection sensitivity.SOLUTION: A flow sensor 1 disposed in piping P through which fluid flows, comprises: an upstream side cylindrical portion 2 which is connected to the piping at an upstream side; a downstream side cylindrical portion 3 which is connected to the piping at a downstream side; an intermediate cylindrical portion 4 for coupling the upstream side cylindrical portion and the downstream side cylindrical portion; an upstream side temperature sensor 5A disposed in the upstream side cylindrical portion; a downstream side temperature sensor 5B disposed in the downstream side cylindrical portion; and a heat generation body 6 which generates heat by means of electrical resistance, which is disposed in the downstream side cylindrical portion.
