Summary: | To provide an oxygen-enriched burner and a heating method using such a burner each of which allows for uniform heating of an object to be heated present even at a position distant from the burner with excellent heat transfer efficiency, when heating the object to be heated with self-excited oscillating frame.SOLUTION: The oxygen-enriched burner comprises a plurality of fluid spray port each of which: a central fluid spraying port 2; and a pair of first peripheral fluid spraying ports 3A and a pair of second peripheral fluid spraying ports 3B, each pair being arranged around the central fluid spraying port in a direction in which they are opposed to and orthogonal to each other. A pair of openings are provided in side walls 41 of a fluid spray flow path 4 located upstream of the central fluid spraying port 2. Clearance between a pair of side walls located downstream of the openings are gradually increased toward the downstream side, the pair of second peripheral fluid spraying ports 3B are arranged in such a manner that the central fluid spraying port 2 is interposed therebetween in a direction orthogonal to the opposing direction of the opening. An angle γ° between the center axis of the central fluid spraying port 2 and the center axis of the second peripheral fluid spraying ports 3B, an outlet width D1 between the side walls 41 of the central fluid spraying port 2, and an outlet width D2 in a direction along the outlet width D1 in the second peripheral fluid spraying ports 3B establish a predetermined relationship.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
