Summary:To provide a metal wire continuous treatment apparatus which continuously removes scales of a metal wire by wet blasting without performance of acid cleaning, and removes scales without changing an angle and a position of a blast gun according to a change in a rotation angle of the metal wire at the time of wet blasting.SOLUTION: A metal wire treatment apparatus linearly draws out a wound metal wire 10, travels the same along a lengthwise direction of the metal wire 10, and continuously performs wet blasting of the travelling metal wire 10. Injection angles of plural blast guns 31, which are so located as to be arranged along an axial direction of the metal wire 10, are so differed from one another that the injection angles are increased in the order of arrangement according to an increase in a rotation angle of rotation of the metal wire 10 around an axis. A value of an injection angle difference per unit distance, in which a difference between injection angles of adjacent blast guns 31 is divided by a distance between said adjacent blast guns, is so made as to be two times or more and 10 times or less of a rotation angle of the travelling metal wire 10 around an axis per unit travel distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】酸洗を行わずに金属線材のスケールを連続的にウェットブラストで除去するとともに、ウェットブラストの際に金属線材の回転角度の変化に応じてブラストガンの角度や位置を変更することなくスケールを除去する金属線材連続処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】金属線材処理装置は、巻かれた金属線材10を直線的に引き出して、金属線材10の長さ方向に沿って走行させ、走行する金属線材10に連続的にウェットブラストを施すものである。金属線材10の軸方向に沿って複数並べて配置されたブラストガン31の噴射角度を、金属線材10の軸回りの回転の回転角度の増加に応じて、並び順に噴射角度が増えるように異ならせる。隣り合うブラストガン31同士の噴射角度の差を隣り合うブラストガン同士の距離で除算した単位距離当たりの噴射角度差の値が走行する金属線材10の単位走行距離当たりの軸回りの回転角度の2倍以上10倍以下とする。【選択図】図1
