Summary:To provide a power storage element in which energy density can be increased.SOLUTION: A power storage element includes a rectangular parallelepiped case having a bottom wall and a top wall, a front wall and a rear wall having a smaller area than the top wall, and a pair of sidewalls having a larger area than the top wall, a laminated electrode body housed in the case, and having multiple tabular positive electrode plates and negative electrode plates laminated via separators, and positive electrode tabs and negative electrode tabs extending from the positive and negative electrode plates toward the front wall, and external terminals provided on the front wall, and connected electrically with the positive electrode tabs or the negative electrode tabs.
