Summary:To solve a problem in which the time is required for deciding a charge amount and arrangement of dummy ink particles for each printing pattern since the air resistance changes due to the printing position of the recording ink particles and the flying pattern of the recording ink particles flying forward when reducing the air resistance acting on the recording ink particles used in printing with the dummy ink particles not used in printing.SOLUTION: The dummy ink particles having the larger deflection amount than that of the recording ink particles adhering to the uppermost position in a printing region and flying outside the printing region are generated at the timing earlier than the recording ink particles. The recording ink particles are made to fly in the slip stream of the dummy ink particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】印字に使用する記録インク粒子に作用する空気抵抗を印字に使用しないダミーインク粒子で低減する場合、記録インク粒子の印字位置や前方を飛翔する記録インク粒子の飛翔パターンにより空気抵抗は変化するため、印字パターン毎にダミーインク粒子の帯電量や配置の決定に時間を要する問題があった。【解決手段】印字領域の最上位に付着する記録インク粒子よりも偏向量が大きく、かつ印字領域外を飛翔するダミーインク粒子を記録インク粒子よりも早いタイミングで生成させ、記録インク粒子がダミーインク粒子の後流内を飛翔するようにする。【選択図】図1
