Summary:To provide a water heater which can supply hot water at a stable temperature, and which has excellent energy saving properties.SOLUTION: A water heater includes: a hot water storage tank 1; a medium temperature hot water tapping part 60 disposed in the hot water storage tank 1; and a plurality of temperature sensors (70a-70g) arranged in the hot water storage tank 1. The medium temperature hot water tapping part 60 at least includes: a plurality of openings (61a-61d); switching parts (63a, 63b) for changing opening areas of the plurality of openings (61a-61d); and shape memory parts (64a, 64b) for moving the switching parts based on the surrounding hot water temperature. In the medium temperature hot water tapping part 60, after mixing the hot water in the hot water storage tank 1, it is flowed out of the hot water storage tank 1. The plurality of temperature sensors (70a-70g) are arranged dispersedly in the upper direction and in the lower direction with respect to the opening 61c located on the lowest side out of the plurality of openings (61a-61d).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】安定した温度で給湯することができ、省エネルギー性に優れた給湯装置を提供すること。【解決手段】貯湯槽1と、貯湯槽1内に配設された中温出湯部60と、貯湯槽1に配置されている複数の温度センサ(70a〜70g)とを備え、中温出湯部60は、少なくとも、複数の開口部(61a〜61d)と、複数の開口部(61a〜61d)の開口面積を変更する切替部(63a、63b)と、周囲の湯温に基づいて、切替部を移動させる形状記憶部(64a、64b)とを有し、中温出湯部60において、湯水を貯湯槽1内で混合した後、貯湯槽1外へ流出させる構成の給湯装置において、複数の温度センサ(70a〜70g)は、複数の開口部(61a〜61d)のうち、最下方側に位置する開口部61cに対して、上方向および下方向に分散して配置されていることを特徴とする給湯装置。【選択図】図1
