Summary:To achieve the size reduction of a thermoacoustic device having a plurality of pieces of at least either of loop piping in which a prime mover is arranged, and loop piping in which a receiver is arranged.SOLUTION: A thermoacoustic device comprises: input loop piping 11, 51; thermoacoustic engine parts 10, 50 having input parts 12, 52 for converting thermal energy to acoustic energy; output loop piping 21, 31 and 61; thermoacoustic refrigeration parts 20, 30 and 60 for generating cold heat by converting the acoustic energy to the thermal energy, and having output parts 22, 32 and 62; and connecting piping 40 to 46 for connecting the input loop piping 11, 51 and the output loop piping 21, 31 and 61. The acoustic energy generated by the thermoacoustic engine parts 10, 50 is transmitted to the thermoacoustic refrigeration parts 20, 30 and 60 via the connecting piping 40 to 46.
