Summary: | To prevent that a fastening element is abruptly fastened.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission 5 comprises: a branch flow passage 115 which is branched from a connecting flow passage for connecting an oil pump 4 and a fore-and-aft traveling changeover mechanism solenoid valve 105; a bypass valve 110 which is arranged in the branch flow passage 115, and valve-opened when the pressure of the branch flow passage 115 reaches prescribed pressure or higher; and an integrated controller 50 for controlling a motion of a second fastening element. In the case that a stay time Time_rng of a non-traveling range is within a predetermined time when a shift range is switched to the non-traveling range from a traveling range and re-switched to the traveling range, the integrated controller 50 sets the pressure of the branch flow passage 115 to prescribed pressure or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
