Summary:To provide an optical writing device which can secure the positioning accuracy at the joining and suppress the ghost light, an image formation apparatus having the optical writing device, and a manufacturing method of the optical writing device.SOLUTION: An optical writing device includes a first base material made of a lens array 12 and a second base material made of a light-emitting substrate 11 or the lens array 12. At least one of the first base material and second base material is a transparent body. Each of the first base material and second base material is formed with junctions (junctions 12d, 11d) in a joint portion with another member. The junction includes: metal layers (metal layers 12a, 11a); intermediate layers (intermediate layers 12b, 11b) for providing the peak of the total transmittance of the junctions to the first wavelength band; and positioning markers (markers 12c, 11c). The first base material and second base material are joined through the metal layers.
