Summary: | To provide an automatic grinder independent of a level of skill of an operator for a height of comb-shaped lip of a labyrinth packing, the grinder being capable of executing corrective machining regardless of a curvature, a size, and/or a condition of the labyrinth packing.SOLUTION: A grinder comprises a stage 14 movable in x- and y-axis directions, a gripping mechanism 24 to hold a labyrinth packing 60 on the stage 14, grinding means 34 to grind comb-shaped lips 62 of the labyrinth packing 60, a z axis actuator 26 to move the grinding means 34 in a z-axis direction, measuring means 38 to measure three points of Z axis coordinates along the x-axis of the labyrinth packing 60, and control means 42 to acquire a curvature radius of the labyrinth packing 60 on the basis of the measurements by the measuring means 38, generate machining data for grinding the upper end of the lip 62 by the grinding means 34 on the basis of the acquired curvature radius, and output control signals to the stage 14 and the z axis actuator 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】作業者の熟練度に依存しない自動加工において、ラビリンスパッキンの曲率や大きさ、状態の如何によらずに修正加工を行うことのできる櫛歯高さ研削装置を提供する。【解決手段】X軸方向と、Y軸方向への移動を可能とするステージ14と、ステージ14上にラビリンスパッキン60を固定する把持機構24と、ラビリンスパッキン60の櫛歯62を研削する研削手段34と、研削手段34をZ軸方向へ移動させるZ軸アクチュエータ26と、ラビリンスパッキン60におけるX軸に沿った3点のZ軸座標を計測する計測手段38と、計測手段38による計測値に基づいてラビリンスパッキン60の曲率半径を求め、当該曲率半径に基づき、研削手段34により櫛歯62の上端を研削するための加工データを作成し、ステージ14とZ軸アクチュエータ26とに対して、制御信号を出力する制御手段42と、を備えることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1 |
