To provide a cell culture tank capable of controlling the size of a cell mass into a desired size.SOLUTION: A culture tank 8 comprises: a culture medium receiving part 11 which receives culture medium M containing a cell to be cultured; a cell culture part 16 which is formed above the culture medium receiving part 11, and cultures the cell to allow a cell mass to grow; and a cell mass sorting part 15 which is formed between the culture medium receiving part 11 and the cell culture part 16, leads the culture medium M which rose from the culture medium receiving part 11 to the cell culture part 16, allows a cell mass larger than a threshold value to fall corresponding to the size of the cell mass, and allows a cell mass smaller than the threshold value to rise.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】細胞塊の大きさを所望の大きさに制御することが可能な細胞培養槽を提供する。【解決手段】培養槽８は、培養対象である細胞を含む培地Ｍを受け入れる培地受入部１１と、培地受入部１１よりも上方に形成され、細胞を培養して細胞塊を成長させる細胞培養部１６と、培地受入部１１と細胞培養部１６との間に形成され、培地受入部１１から上昇した培地Ｍを細胞培養部１６へ導き、細胞塊の大きさに応じて閾値よりも大きい細胞塊を下降させると共に閾値よりも小さい細胞塊を上昇させる細胞塊選別部１５と、を備える。【選択図】図１
